Day 1: Arrive in Algiers
Welcome to Algeria! Arrive in its capital, Algiers, and get settled in your accommodation. Start exploring the Casbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Wander through its narrow streets lined with historic whitewashed buildings and get a feel for the local rhythm.
Make sure to stop by the Ketchaoua Mosque and admire its intricate details. End your day with dinner at a local café and try a tagine or couscous.
Day 2: Discover Algiers
Spend the day diving deeper into Algiers. Visit the impressive Notre-Dame d’Afrique, a hilltop cathedral offering stunning panoramic views of the bay.
Head over to the Bardo Museum to learn more about Algeria’s rich history. Then, visit the Monument des Martyrs, a towering monument dedicated to Algeria’s fight for independence.

Day 3: Tipaza

Day 4: Fly to Oran

Day 7: Repose in Oran

Day 8: Travel to the Sahara (Ghardaia)
Fly south to Ghardaia, a gateway to the Sahara Desert. Once you arrive, explore this fascinating town. It’s part of the M’zab Valley and has a unique architecture style.

Day 9: M’zab Valley
Take the day to dive into the history and culture of the M’zab Valley. Visit the five fortified towns known as “ksour.” These towns are filled with stunning architecture and have a vibe unlike anywhere else in Algeria.

Day 10: Into the Sahara

Day 12: Explore Constantine
Start the day visiting the Cirta Museum to get a better understanding of Constantine’s long history. Then, cross the iconic Sidi M’Cid Bridge for more breathtaking views.
In the afternoon, visit the Roman ruins of Tiddis, just a short drive outside the city. This off-the-beaten-path archaeological site offers a quieter, more intimate experience to marvel at ancient Algeria.
Day 13: Fly back to Algiers
After breakfast, fly back to Algiers. Use the afternoon to explore anything you might have missed on your first visit. Head to the Jardin d’Essai, a lush botanical garden great for a leisurely stroll.

Day 14: Departure
