How a page is made
- We research each guide from official and primary sources: tourism boards, transport operators, attraction websites and government immigration and foreign ministry pages.
- We draft pages with the help of AI tools, then check every fact against the source it came from. Entry rules and itineraries get a second, independent review.
- Anything we can't confirm stays out, or shows as a placeholder such as €[fee] until we can confirm it.
- The TravPa Editors team approves each page before it is published, and the page shows the date it was approved.
Entry rules
- Rules for US, UK, EU, Canadian, Australian and Indian passports come from official government pages. Each shows its source and an "Updated as of" date, which we reset every time we recheck it, even when nothing changed.
- For other passports, we use the destination's own published visa lists where we have them. Where we don't, we show a general category from the Passport Index dataset, clearly labeled as not official.
- We recheck entry rules at least every three months, and sooner when a change is announced. Always confirm with the destination's official sources and your own government's travel advice before you book.
Opening hours and entry fees
Fees come from each attraction's official website and show the date we checked them. Opening hours and prices change often, so confirm them before you go. If you see a different price, use the "Fee changed?" link: we review reports every month.
How we use AI
We use AI tools to help research, draft and check our pages, and to create some of our illustrations. They don't replace the source checks above: every fact on a page must come from a source we cite.
Corrections
If you spot a mistake, tell us. We fix confirmed errors and update the page's date.
Independence
Booking partners don't pay for coverage and don't see our guides before they are published. How we earn money is explained on how we make money.
