Entry rule for your passport
Tourism: 14 days visa-free with hotel, funds and onward ticket; 30 with a qualifying AJACSSUK visa or permanent residence. Neither stay is extendible. Passport 6 months beyond stay; eTravel and child conditions apply.
Official sources: Philippine Bureau of Immigration.
Who this covers: Indian national passport holders making a short tourist visit; ordinary entry rather than transit, employment or a change of immigration status.
Check your circumstances
Read these conditions alongside the entry rule. Where official guidance does not state a condition, that is not confirmation that no condition applies.
- Passport type Confirmed for this scope
- This guide covers Indian national passports for tourism. The Bureau requires validity of at least six months beyond the intended stay; it does not establish eligibility for emergency or other travel documents.
Official sources: Philippine Bureau of Immigration.
- Trip purpose Confirmed for this scope
- The routes described here are for tourism. They are not permission to work, study or take a long-term stay. Transit is a separate case and must not be treated as an ordinary tourist exemption.

- Age Conditions to check
- Foreign children under 15 traveling without a parent may need a Waiver for Exclusion Ground. Joining-parent and other status exceptions need Bureau confirmation before travel; a tourist exemption does not remove child-entry checks.

- Residence Conditions to check
- The general 14-day tourist route does not require residence in another country. For a 30-day stay, the Bureau circular specifies qualifying permanent residence; temporary residence alone is not confirmed here.

- Other visas or residence permits Conditions to check
- For 30 days, present a valid US, Japanese, Australian, Canadian, Schengen, Singapore or UK visa or permanent residence permit. Supporting transit and seafarer visas do not qualify under the Bureau circular.
Official sources: Philippine Bureau of Immigration.
- Carrier and arrival route Confirmed for this scope
- The circular permits entry at any Philippine international air or sea port, including cruises. It does not specify a required airline. Confirm boarding documents and the actual arrival port with your carrier.

- Stay and visa validity Confirmed for this scope
- The ordinary exemption permits up to 14 days; the qualifying AJACSSUK route permits up to 30. Section 5 makes both nonextendible and nonconvertible. Supporting-document validity is not the permitted Philippine stay.

The 14-day tourist route
Carry a passport valid for at least six months beyond your intended stay, confirmed hotel accommodation, evidence of financial capacity and a return or onward ticket. Immigration can ask to see these documents and check for derogatory records. The visa-free period cannot be extended or converted to another admission status.

When 30 days are available
The separate AJACSSUK route requires a valid visa or permanent residence permit issued by the United States, Japan, Australia, Canada, a Schengen country, Singapore or the United Kingdom. Transit and seafarer visas are excluded by the Bureau circular. You also need the passport validity, return or onward ticket and immigration clearance requirements. The government eVisa page uses the broader words residence permits, while the Bureau circular and the Philippine Embassy in Singapore specify permanent residence. If your only qualifying document is temporary residence, ask the embassy to confirm your case before relying on 30 days.

Arrival declaration and children
Ordinary foreign visitors register through the free government eTravel service within 72 hours before arrival and keep their proof for boarding. eTravel is separate from visa eligibility; diplomatic and certain official-status travelers have exceptions. For a child under 15 traveling without a parent, check the Bureau's Waiver for Exclusion Ground process and joining-parent exceptions before departure. Do not assume an adult companion automatically satisfies the rule.

Transit and longer visits
The Indian tourist privilege is available at international air and sea ports, including cruise arrivals. It does not establish a transit exemption: the official guidance requires an appropriate transit visa for Indian travelers transiting through the Philippines. Ask the Philippine mission about your exact route, including any change of airport. For a stay beyond the available exemption or a different purpose, arrange the appropriate visa before travel; neither tourist exemption can be extended after entry.
