Book these aheadThe Neon Museum (day 2): timed tickets, or tickets that often sell out.
Drink plenty of waterDesert heat is serious from late spring to early fall. Carry water and keep outdoor stops for the morning or evening.
Allow time between resortsWalks between resorts often go through casinos and over footbridges and take longer than the map suggests. Wear comfortable shoes.
