Entry rule for your passport

Check your circumstances

Read these conditions alongside the entry rule. Where official guidance does not state a condition, that is not confirmation that no condition applies.

Passport type Confirmed for this scope
The eVisa route accepts ordinary passports with at least 90 days of validity at application. Other travel-document types must use the appropriate consular route.

Carrier and arrival route Not stated in the cited guidance
The terms require presentation of the eVisa at boarding and entry but do not name a mandatory airline. Confirm document acceptance for your actual journey; no carrier exemption is implied.

Stay and visa validity Confirmed for this scope
The eVisa is single-entry, with a stay of up to 30 days. Its validity can be up to 180 days from issue; that validity is not permission to stay for 180 days.

Use the nationality route

India is in Category A of the official eVisa conditions. For the India-resident tourist scenario checked here, an ordinary Indian passport is enough to establish the nationality route; a US, UK or Schengen visa is not an added requirement. Apply through Acces Maroc and answer the checker for your own circumstances. Approval and admission remain separate decisions.

Prepare the application documents

The terms require a clear copy of the valid ordinary passport and a recent color identity photograph. Follow the portal specifications, including the 35 by 45 mm photograph taken within six months. Review every field before payment: an error can make the document unusable, and the terms say fees are nonrefundable. They do not establish a blanket exemption from interviews or requests for more information.

Allow time for a decision

The stated standard processing target is 72 Moroccan working hours and the express target is 24 working hours. These targets do not cover incomplete or inaccurate applications and are not a guaranteed approval date. Avoid treating an application receipt as travel permission.

Carry the arrival evidence

Present the issued eVisa when boarding and at the border, and keep it available during the stay. The official arrival list includes a return ticket, evidence of sufficient funds and hospital and repatriation insurance. If you applied under a residence- or supporting-visa category instead, carry the original qualifying document too. Check the complete terms before departure because the border officer can verify the purpose and conditions of the trip.

Check children and the travel dates

A child under 18 must enter with a parent or legal representative. The visa permits a single entry and no more than 30 days in Morocco, even when the document remains valid for longer. Follow the dates on the issued visa; several eVisas do not authorize a continuous extended stay without leaving Morocco.

Do not confuse the other categories

Category B concerns eligible foreign residents and requires an actual qualifying residence document with at least 180 days of validity at application. Category C concerns specified non-electronic multiple-entry foreign visas with at least 90 days of validity. These separate categories do not turn every foreign permit or eVisa into qualifying evidence. Indian nationals using Category A do not need to add either document simply because these categories exist.
