Who this covers: Ordinary Indian passports for a tourist or social visit. Diplomatic, official and service passports, work, study and transit under the Visa Free Transit Facility follow other rules.

How to apply
ICA does not accept visa applications at the immigration counters. Apply in one of three ways: through a qualifying local contact in Singapore, using the e-Service; at the nearest Singapore mission; or through one of its authorized visa agents. The contact needs a Singpass or Corppass account. ICA advises applying within 30 days before you arrive.
The High Commission in New Delhi takes applications through its authorized visa agents. It says you do not need to buy a flight ticket before applying, and that buying one early is at your own risk.

Documents
You need a completed Form 14A signed by you, a recent color passport photo taken within the last 3 months, and a copy of your passport biodata page. The passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date you enter Singapore. ICA may ask for a letter of introduction (Form V39A); its local contact must be a Singapore citizen or permanent resident aged at least 21.
Documents in other languages need official translations. The High Commission in New Delhi asks for 2 photos and English translations of documents in Hindi.

Fees and processing
ICA charges a non-refundable processing fee of S$30, paid online. Through the High Commission in New Delhi the fee is INR 2,100, and its authorized visa agents may add a service fee of up to Rs.1,300. ICA states 3 working days, excluding submission day; the High Commission states 3 to 5, excluding submission day, weekends and public holidays. Some take longer.
If approved, the local contact, strategic partner or visa agent prints your e-Visa through the e-Service.

Before you fly and on arrival
Submit the SG Arrival Card within 3 days before you arrive, including the day of arrival. It is free on ICA's own e-Service and the MyICA app; ICA warns about look-alike websites that charge a fee, and use the links from ICA or its official MyICA app rather than a paid look-alike service.
The SG Arrival Card is not a visa. At the checkpoint, the officer decides whether to admit you and emails your e-Pass with the period of stay. To stay longer, you can apply to extend your visit pass when 14 days or fewer remain; approval is not automatic. Check ICA's entry checker for requirements linked to your recent travel, including yellow fever.

Exceptions
Diplomatic, official and service passports do not need a visa. Indian nationals traveling to or from a third country may qualify for the Visa Free Transit Facility (VFTF). You may arrive by any mode but must leave by air, ferry or cruise within 96 hours, with a valid onward ticket. Normally you need a visa or long-term pass issued by, or valid for entry into, Australia, Canada, Germany, Japan, New Zealand, Switzerland, the UK or the US, valid for at least 1 month from entry into Singapore.
A used Single Journey Visa from a listed country can qualify on the return journey if you travel directly from its issuing country through Singapore to your home country and have not returned home since using it. ICA decides admission, other entry requirements still apply, and VFTF stays cannot be extended. Airside transit without immigration clearance follows separate rules and does not require the SG Arrival Card.
